Trees For The Future is a non-profit based in Washington D.C., and has operated outreach in countries in need all over the world. Their mission is centered around the idea that sustainable farming practices are the key to helping third-world populations create relief for their families and communities and create prosperity instead of poverty. I led the team addressing their latest opportunity. We were approached with the assumption that a website redesign was their greatest need. When we picked away at their challenges, we discovered that they had just purchased the Trees.org domain. We suggested a strategy that was more immediate and nimble -- let's create a campaign focused on individual donors that educated a whole new giving base about the story surrounding this 25 year organization.
To date, the site has raised over $600k since launching in Dec. 2015.
